John & Shelley are the patriarchs of Wagging Heart Kennels. They are married 42 years. For over 40 years John and Shelley have been breeding dogs! With out John and Shelley’s knowledge and expertise, Wagging Heart Kennels would not exist!

Shelley is very passionate, loving and caring toward the dogs. She plays a big role in keeping our facility spotlessly clean and sanitary! She can be found in the kennel at all hours of the day (or night) watching over a mother giving birth or simply making sure everyone is comfortable, healthy and happy! Shelley does all the correspondence with clients and coordinating all the puppy pick up days. If you inquire about a puppy you will hear from Shelley.

John also plays a role in keeping things running smoothly, and helping out with the daily chores in the facility. John is a visionary, he is the intellect behind the elite genetics and dogs that we have here at Wagging Heart Kennels! Thanks to Johns many years of expertise and knowledge of genetics, temperaments and how they will mix, we have clients, “dogs” that have huge followings on Instagram! We also have many very happy families and dog owners enjoying the results of this expertise. You won’t always find John at our facility but you will always see the effects of his work through our elite genetics and dogs.

Toby was fully crate trained, potty trained and knew his basic commands at 16 weeks old. I can’t thank them enough for the service they provided our family. Toby is our first dog and following their training suggestions once he came home to us was very easy.”
